Guide for Minecraft:

Survive and thrive in a blocky world

When you first launch Minecraft, you’ll need to create a new world. Here’s what you should consider:

Game modes: Survival (where you need to collect resources and manage hunger), Creative (with unlimited resources and without health concerns) and Hardcore (a more challenging survival mode with only one life) Choose between.

Difficulty: From Peaceful (no hostile mobs) to Hard (increased mob difficulties and hunger management).

World Type: The default is the standard terrain, but there are also options like Super Flat, Large Biome, and Customization.

Basic Controls

Familiarize yourself with the basic controls:

Movement: WASD keys for movement, spacebar to jump, and shift to crouch.

Mining and placing blocks: Left-click to mine or attack, and right-click to place blocks.

Inventory: Press E to open your inventory and access crafting and storage.

Survival tips

Collecting Resources

Your first priority should be gathering the necessary resources:

Wood: Punch down trees to collect wood, then craft it into planks and sticks.

Stone: Mine stone with wooden pickaxes to upgrade your tools.

Coal and Iron: Mine these metals to craft better tools and weapons and make torches.

Crafting Essentials

Use the crafting grid to create basic items:

Food Farm: After you have the item you want to plant, you need to create a Hoe at a Crafting Table and find an area to create farmland.

Armor and Clothing: Throughout all Minecraft updates armor has stayed the same, there was no spice or flashiness to any of the armor in the game.

Transportation: Minecarts are always great to use because, if used correctly, they can go from A to B in a short amount of time, while boats, on the other hand, ensure you travel across any body of water in a timely matter.

Shelter Building

Before nightfall, you’ll need a shelter to protect yourself from hostile mobs:

Basic Shelter: Start with a simple mud or wooden hut.

Advanced Shelter: As you collect more resources, upgrade to more durable materials such as stone or brick.

Food and farming

Keep an eye on your hunger bar:

Foraging: Hunt animals (such as pigs, cows, and chickens) or gather fruits and vegetables.

Farming: Plant crops like wheat, carrots and potatoes to create a sustainable source of food. Build a farm near your base.

Discovery and Expansion

Mining and Resources

Mining is important for development:

Cave Exploration: Explore caves for precious metals and resources. Be prepared with torches and armor.

Strip Mining: Create horizontal tunnels to extract as much ore as possible.

Craftsmanship and Enchantment

Craftsmanship and Enchantment

Improve your gear and items:

Crafting: Use the crafting table to create advanced items such as armor, tools and more complex mechanisms.
